Visiting Class on 3D Sketch for the Industrial Product Design Program with Prof. Dr. M. Hariri Abdullah

October 14, 2024 – 3rd Semester Course, Industrial Product Design Program, UPI Tasikmalaya, Students from the Industrial Product Design program at UPI Tasikmalaya had a valuable opportunity through a visiting class on 3D Sketch, guided by Prof. Dr. Mohamad Hariri Abdullah, a lecturer in Product Design at Universiti Teknologi MARA, Malaysia. As an experienced guest lecturer, Prof. Hariri brought fresh insights and new techniques in 3D sketching, enriching students’ skills.

In this session, Prof. Hariri introduced practical techniques that combine traditional sketching with digital visualization, enabling students to bring their design concepts to life with greater clarity and precision. Through live demonstrations and detailed guidance, he emphasized the importance of proportion, perspective, and line quality, which form the foundation for accurate and effective 3D sketches.

The class provided students with the opportunity to apply these techniques, showcasing how 3D sketching can expedite the design process and make ideas more concrete. With the skills taught by Prof. Hariri, students now possess new tools to enhance their creativity and precision in future design projects.
